Incredibly beautiful there. Outside there are donkeys, horses and goats that you can stroke, inside you can watch the horses training while you eat or you can eat in the large winter garden with a fireplace. The food is prepared extremely tasty. Truly a restaurant that stands out from all the hundreds I've been to. Highly recommended for families too! We will definitely come back more often now.

The oat box is a place for parties, togetherness and to feel good. A friendly staff including the boss! Families can also let their children jump and watch it from the winter garden! The food as well as the own wines leave nothing to be desired!

Called to see if we could eat in the afternoon. This was answered in the affirmative. When we arrived at 3:30 pm we were told that there was no more hot food. Went there for free! That is not how it works! Processed (based on the owner's reply): An on-site employee told us on July 11th that the cook had left and that there was no hot meal.

Visited the beautiful beer garden in Kenzingen on Saturday with 20 Harley's (40 people). Friendly waitresses brought us the food within 20 minutes, delicious steak's, schnitzel, tarte flambee and salads. Everyone was thrilled and full. We will definitely be back soon.

A very nice restaurant with a very tasty fresh cuisine. Absolutely child-friendly !!! Friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended.

To be highlighted positively is the super friendly staff. We felt very comfortable as vacationers. The ambience outside is also very nice. Our dishes, including the Greek tarte flambee, were really delicious and the portion size was great. Highly Recommended.

Salad with fresh strawberries and asparagus sounds good. But he wasn't. Because the salad was mostly canned. The usual ready-made carrot, beetroot and coleslaw. In addition canned corn and a ready-made salad dressing. Not even the asparagus was fresh, even though the oat box is in the middle of an asparagus growing area and is currently high season. Only the strawberries were fresh. For 12 euros that is far from what you expected. But the garden with the huge tree in the middle is beautiful.

We went to eat at this restaurant almost accidentally because we couldn't find anything interesting in the area and on a website they scored well. When we arrived we decided to stay for a drink and I didn't keep looking. But we got it right! We only speak Spanish and English and very little French. The waitress only spoke German. She put all her interest and effort in understanding each other and that we understand her and thus we get a really nice meal. We eat mostly grilled meats, each one of a different style. Juicy and with a very pleasant flavor. The salad had to be made from local products because it was delicious. The accompaniments also very good. And the desserts, although they had industrial cream, were very good. They were basically ice creams with cream and different hot sauces (natural raspberries or chocolate), Very rich everything. Very friendly staff and really adjusted price. In short, highly recommended if you are in the area.
